Meet the Doctor:
Arman F. Karapetyan, M.D.,Ph.D
Dr. Karapetyan’s talent is akin to that of an artist. His outstanding ability to restore the youthful contour of the face that creates both balance and beauty is unmatched. He was educated, trained, and licensed in medicine in both Europe and the U.S., thus Dr. Karapetyan is one of few medical professionals able to combine his vast knowledge, varied experience and unique expertise making him one of the best specialists of Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr. Karapetyan has studied medicine at YSMU, graduating with honors, followed with a Residency in Dermatology. Upon completion, he earned his Ph.D. in Dermatology from Pavlov State Medical University in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he was awarded a professorship position at the Department of Dermatology; giving him the opportunity to teach medical students and residents while continuing his research. His deep interest and wide breadth of knowledge in Cosmetic Dermatology were well recognized, and he was asked to serve as Editor-in-Chief of the prestigious Journal of Dermatology and Cosmetology in Russia.
Upon moving to the United States, Dr. Karapetyan completed his medical residency training in New York City and became a board certified physician. His practice initially started in a surgical center in Beverly Hills with a focus on weight loss and cosmetic medicine.
Dr. Karapetyan founded LA Beauty Skin Center in 2012, incorporating his extensive and diverse knowledge and expertise in Aesthetic Medicine with the goal of creating a state-of-the-art medical center where anyone and everyone could benefit from the ever-emerging breakthroughs of science and technologies through affordable, high-quality treatments.
